Cordyceps, known as Cordyceps militaris, is a complex of fungus Cordyceps militaris parasitic on the larvae of bat moth larvae and its larvae. The artificially cultivated cordyceps can be divided into two kinds: Cordyceps militaris and Cordyceps mycelium (P.patens mycelia, CS-4).
Cordyceps militaris is obtained by artificially growing live insects on cordyceps militaris. Cordyceps mycelia is a fermentation process in which wheat flour is used as a medium for the cultivation of Cordyceps mycelia. Cordycepin, cordycepic acid, and cordyceps polysaccharides are the main indicators of Cordyceps militaris.
