Chaga Mushroom (Inonotus Obliquus) is a mushroom most commonly found on birch trees. Different from other mushrooms, it grows its sclerotium or mycelium on the outside of the tree, instead of fruiting bodies. Chaga mushrooms are most impressive for their antioxidant content. Chaga mushrooms are low in calories, very high in fiber and free of fat, sugar, and carbohydrates.
Q
Is the product a mushroom powder or an extract?
We only use the fruit body and supply both mushroom powder and extract. A hot water extract is a very simple and effective way to concentrate mushrooms and make them more bioavailable compared to simple powder.
Q
Is the product certified organic?
Yes, our products are Certified Organic USDA. This means the mushrooms are grown under organic conditions and processed in an Organic GMP workshop. We can provide COA with Organic certification for each mushroom species.
Q
How does it taste and what is the recommended dosage?
It has a slight mushroom-bitter scent and taste, but it is not overpowering. It blends well with coffee, tea, soup, or smoothies. We suggest approximately 1g per day to maintain health.
Q
How should I store the Chaga extract?
It is fine to store at room temperature as long as it is kept well-sealed in a cool, dry place. It can also be refrigerated if it remains tightly sealed.
Q
What is the expiration date of the product?
The expiration date is 2 years from the date of production, which is clearly marked on the packaging. We ensure fresh stock due to high sales turnover.
Q
Does it dissolve in water?
Yes, the extract dissolves instantly in hot water or when blended well into other liquids.
